Return and Refund Policy
General conditions for warranty claims
- Claims must be filed within the warranty period.
- Claims may be submitted by the original end customer or a subsequent owner with proof of transfer.
- PV modules used on a mobile platform carry a 12-year warranty.
- Replaced modules become the property of End Loadshedding.
Exclusions and limitations
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper installation or unauthorized alterations.
- Non-compliance with End Loadshedding instructions or applicable local codes.
- Power surges, lightning, flood, fire, animals, chemicals and similar external causes.
- Cosmetic wear or changes that do not affect performance.
- Relocation without written approval or missing / altered serial labels.
End Loadshedding is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by uncontrollable events and is not responsible for property damage, personal injury, loss of profits or consequential losses linked to PV modules. Total liability is limited to the purchase price paid.
How to file a claim
Claims may be filed through the seller or installer, an End Loadshedding authorized installer, or directly with End Loadshedding.
- Provide the warranty card, online registration or invoice.
- Provide proof of delivery date.
- Provide serial or product numbers and supporting evidence.
- Returns require prior written authorization.
Handling fees and installation requirements
- Handling fees for returns: 15% for 1-7 days, 45% for 8-14 days, and 55% for 15-21 days.
- Installation and labour costs are non-refundable.
- Electrical products must be installed by certified professionals.
- The buyer must comply with legal codes and provide a Certificate of Compliance (COC).
- Return requirements include a completed RMA form, photos showing surge protection, and COC and line diagrams where required.
Non-defective returns and call-out policy
- Non-defective returns must be reported within 10 business days and returned within 10 business days at the buyer’s cost.
- Products must be in original packaging.
- Refund or credit is processed within 30 days after approval and inspection.
- Post-installation call-out fee: approximately R500 for travel.
Warranty periods noted in the document
- Accessories such as cables and breakers are not covered under warranty.
- Battery and inverter: 10-year warranty for repair or replacement.
- Solar panels: 21-year performance warranty.
- Warranties begin on installation date and follow manufacturer terms.
