The 125kW Livoltek Grid-Tie Inverter is designed to be the energy brain of your South African home or business solar installation — managing the flow of power between solar panels, battery bank, Eskom grid, and household loads with intelligent automation.
During loadshedding, the inverter’s internal relay disconnects from the grid and switches your critical loads to battery and solar power in under 20 milliseconds. This speed is the difference between a system that protects your electronics and one that still causes reboots and dropouts. Solar panels continue to charge the battery throughout the outage, extending backup time whenever there is sunlight available.
The MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar input continuously adjusts the operating point of the solar string to extract the maximum available power across varying irradiance levels — critical during South Africa’s partly cloudy summer afternoons when irradiance can change significantly within minutes.
LiFePO4 battery communication via CAN bus or RS485 provides the inverter with real-time cell-level data from the battery BMS, enabling precise charge voltage and current control that maximises battery cycle life. Wi-Fi monitoring via the manufacturer’s cloud platform gives you live energy flow data and historical analysis on your smartphone.
