Description
The Revov E100 5.12kWh is South Africa’s pioneering second-life LiFePO4 battery, built from rigorously tested and recertified prismatic cells sourced from retired EV battery packs. Revov’s philosophy is straightforward: EV cells that have depleted to 80% of original capacity retain far more than 80% of their value for stationary storage applications that don’t require the same gravimetric energy density as an electric vehicle.
Each cell passes a full electrochemical test before entering Revov’s battery assembly process. The result is a 51.2V 100Ah pack with a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) that handles over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, under-temperature, over-current, and short-circuit protection. CAN and RS485 communication protocols are both supported, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of hybrid inverters including Deye, Sunsynk, Victron, SMA, Goodwe, and Fronius.
The E100 is designed to be wall-mounted or rack-mounted and can be paralleled with additional units to scale storage capacity. At 5.12kWh usable capacity per unit, three E100 batteries provide enough storage to cover the average South African household through a Stage 4 loadshedding cycle while keeping essential loads — fridge, lights, security system, Wi-Fi router — running without interruption.
