Description
The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/24-10 solves a specific but common problem: the vehicle has a 12V starter battery but the auxiliary system runs on 24V — perhaps to power a 24V winch, a 24V compressor, or a 24V solar battery bank that feeds an inverter. This unit steps up from 12V input to 24V output while delivering 10A of smart charging current to the service bank.
Full galvanic isolation means the 12V and 24V systems are electrically separated, preventing any interaction between them. The smart charging algorithm delivers a proper multi-stage charge cycle rather than a simple voltage conversion, maximising battery health. VictronConnect Bluetooth monitoring provides live telemetry throughout the journey.
