Description
The Araymond Powar Snap S+ is a premium French-engineered solar panel mounting clip designed to grip aluminium-framed panels onto standard T-slot rail mounting systems without the need for drilling, bolting, or special tools. Each clip simply snaps onto the rail and positively engages the panel frame with a spring-loaded mechanism.
The S+ variant incorporates an anti-theft locking feature that prevents the clip from being released without a proprietary tool — a critical consideration in South Africa where solar panel theft from residential and commercial rooftops has become a significant problem. Once locked, these clips hold the panel as securely as bolted alternatives while being faster to install.
The S+ (Small) size accommodates panel frames up to 35mm in height — suitable for most 60-cell and 72-cell residential and commercial panels from JA Solar, LONGi, Canadian Solar, Trina Solar, and similar manufacturers. Compatible with standard 35mm and 40mm aluminium mounting rails.
A box of 400 clips is sufficient for approximately 50 panels with 8 clips per panel (4 midclamps and 4 endclamps), making this the professional installer purchase for multi-panel projects.
